Pacific Consultants leverages the technology and experience cultivated through the recovery and reconstruction of large-scale disasters to engage in research and technological development and human resource development that looks ahead from disaster prevention and mitigation to recovery and reconstruction. On this page, we introduce our efforts to prepare for future disasters, including lessons learned from past disasters and research activities in collaboration with regional Headquarters, branches, and universities. Reflecting on the Great Earthquake I Experienced
To improve disaster preparedness, it is crucial to reflect on past disasters and connect those experiences and lessons to the future. Pacific Consultants has been involved in the recovery and reconstruction efforts following numerous disasters, including the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, Great East Japan Earthquake, and Noto Peninsula Earthquake. The knowledge gained from supporting the reconstruction of disaster-stricken areas, restoring social infrastructure, and improving regional disaster prevention capabilities is being utilized in current disaster prevention, mitigation, and disaster resilience initiatives.
