Defining Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at PACIFIC CONSULTANTS
- Diversity refers to the various differences (individuality) that define a person. There are superficial differences such as age, gender, race/ethnicity, and disability, and deeper differences such as knowledge, experience, expertise, skills, values and ways of thinking, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We respect not only the deeper knowledge diversity such as knowledge, experience, and expertise that leads to value creation, but also all of the individual differences that each person possesses, recognizing that all of their individual differences shape who they are.
- Equity means creating a work environment where each individual can fully utilize their potential. We provide support and proactive opportunities according to the situation to ensure that fair opportunities and success are not hindered by unconscious bias or industry-specific working styles.
- Inclusion means embracing and incorporating diverse differences (individuality) to make them the strength of the organization. To achieve our group vision of "Producing the Future," we will create a psychologically safe workplace where each individual can maximize their potential and teamwork, leading to new value and change.
