Urban Development from the Use of RiverCoexistence with the Water Flowing at the Bottom of the Valley

Shibuya was originally a "valley town" created by a river.
As a result, flooding occurs frequently and the river becomes a nuisance to the town...
Therefore, we proposed a revitalization plan that makes the most usefulness from the Shibuya River, bringing the river to the forefront and establishing an underground rainwater storage facility to control the water that collects at the bottom of the valley.
This will enable a comfortable waterfront and pedestrian space to coexist.
The river takes center stage.
