We will Conduct a Social Experiment in the "Tsuruya Area" of the Yokohama Station North-West Exit Area, Aiming to Create a New Community Through the Multi-Use Transformation of Public Spaces.
PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President Executive Officer: Osamu OMOTO) and Park Line Promotion Council (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), in which the company participates, will corporate in planning and operation of a social experiment on community formation utilizing transportation plazas and road spaces, hosted by the Yokohama Station North-West Exit Tsuruya Area's Urban Redevelopment Association (Location: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), for two days on Friday, March 27th and Saturday, March 28th, 2026.
This social experiment aims to create connections and a sense of community within Tsuruya-cho by utilizing public spaces such as transportation plazas and road spaces in the Tsuruya-cho area, and by combining "food" as an attractive local resource with "film (art)" as content. Through this social experiment, we will consider the multi-use possibilities of public spaces in urban development, moving beyond the traditional roles of transportation plazas and road spaces.

2. Purpose
- To foster community building in the Tsuruya area, located in the north-west exit area of Yokohama Station.
- To utilize public spaces such as transportation plazas and road spaces in the Tsuruya-cho area for multi-use.
- The aim is to attract new visitors to Tsuruya-cho and encourage them to explore the area by focusing on "food," which is one of Tsuruya-cho's attractions, and "film (art)" as a new form of entertainment.
