Pacific Consultants Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President Executive Officer: Satoko Okano; hereinafter referred to as "our company") has begun sales of a high-definition 3D NFT of Futa, a red panda kept at Chiba City Zoological Park, as part of the "Chiba City Zoological Park NFT Collection," a 3D NFT project of local resources developed in collaboration with Chiba City Zoological Park, starting today, October 30, 2026 (Friday). In addition to the "regular version" which will be sold to the general public, a "limited edition" will be sold to those who purchased the "3D card NFT" which was sold from July 27 to August 31, 2026, featuring a different pose from the regular version and a special serial number.

Futa, who has turned 23 and is beloved as one of Japan's longest-living cats, has been recreated in high definition using 3D technology. Purchased 3D NFTs can be viewed on a special website, where they can be freely rotated and enlarged in 360 degrees. There are two types of 3D NFTs: a "regular version" that anyone can purchase, and a "limited edition" that can only be purchased by those who purchase the 3D card NFT. The limited edition features a different pose from the regular version and comes with a serial number, making it a rare and collectible piece of content.

Those who purchased the "3D Card NFT" (4 types in total), which was sold from July 27 to August 31, 2026 to commemorate Futa's 23rd birthday, were entitled to purchase one limited edition 3D NFT for each card purchased. Regardless of which card was purchased, the limited edition 3D NFT that could be purchased was the same. Please note that sales of the 3D Card NFT have already ended, and there are no plans for general sales of the limited edition.

Born on July 5, 2003, this red panda became a nationwide sensation around 2005 when its adorable habit of standing on its hind legs became a major talking point. At its 23 years old, it is known as one of the longest-lived red pandas in Japan, and it remains a beloved representative of Chiba City Zoological Park, enjoyed by people of all ages.

This initiative is based on an agreement signed between Chiba City and our company in April 2025, which aims to promote the appeal of local resources through digitalization and create new revenue streams. To date, we have been working to provide new experiential value using digital technology through the launch of a special website, the sale of 3D animal NFTs, and the sale of a 3D card NFT commemorating Futa's 23rd birthday. Through this initiative, we aim to create opportunities to pique the interest of people who have never visited Chiba City Zoological Park, and a portion of the NFT sales will be used for the operation and development of the zoo.
