PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. (Address: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo Representative Director, President Executive Officer: Osamu OMOTO; hereinafter referred to as PACIFIC CONSULTANTS) and Chiba City (Address: Chuo-ku, Chiba City; Mayor: Shunichi KAMIYA) have launched a special website for the "Chiba Zoo NFT Collection," in which various animals from Chiba Zoo appear as 3D/NFT, based on an agreement concluded on April 24, 2025 regarding "Creating the Appeal of Chiba Zoo through a Project to Utilize 3D/NFT for Local Resources such as Public Infrastructure, etc."
This agreement was concluded with the aim of creating new appeal for the Chiba City Zoo, which is operated by Chiba City, and raising funds to support the operation of the zoo, through the effective use of assets such as public infrastructure through PACIFIC CONSULTANTS' technology and new businesses to increase the appeal of local governments, which are promoted by PACIFIC CONSULTANTS. The Chiba City Zoo NFT Collection is the first initiative under this agreement.

The Chiba Zoo NFT Collection allows users to collect 3D models of animals actually kept at the Chiba Zoo. Purchased NFT can be viewed on a map on the special website, allowing users to experience the fun of collecting animals in a digital space in the atmosphere of the zoo.
To commemorate the launch of the special website, we will be running a campaign in which anyone can obtain one 3D/NFT for free, with the aim of letting more people know about NFT and the appeal of Chiba Zoo.

■ Background of the project
In recent years, advances in NFT (Non-Fungible Token) technology have made it possible to clearly prove ownership of digital information, enabling it to be bought and sold. In response, PACIFIC CONSULTANTS is working with local governments to promote 3D/NFT projects for public infrastructure such as bridges, dams, and train stations, as well as local resources such as cityscapes, nature, and tourist facilities.
With this in mind, PACIFIC CONSULTANTS and Chiba City have signed an agreement to "Creating the Appeal of Chiba Zoo through a Project to Utilize 3D/NFT for Local Resources such as Public Infrastructure, etc." and have decided to launch a new initiative titled the "Chiba Zoo NFT Collection," which will allow people to collect 3D models of animals and other creatures as NFT.
Through this initiative, we hope to spark interest in Chiba City Zoo even among those who have never visited before. In addition, we aim to use a portion of the sales of NFT to further develop and sustainably operate Chiba City Zoo.
