Second Call for Proposals for the FY2023(JPN) "Infrastructure Development Study Project for Joint Credit Mechanism (JCM Feasibility Study (FS))" (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Project)
PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD., Ltd. will be conducting the "Infrastructure Development Study Project for Joint Credit Mechanism (JCM Feasibility Study (FS) for the FY2023 (JPN) as a commissioned project from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Trade and Industry (responsible: Global Environment Section Industrial Technology and Environment Bureau). As part of this project, we are calling for the second call for proposals for the "JCM Feasibility Study (FS)."
Outline of Application
The purpose of this Feasibility Study (FS) (FS) is to promote the dissemination of decarbonization technologies and products by Japanese companies and other entities, thereby achieving greenhouse gas emission reductions and JCM credits in the host country.
As a development after the completion of the FS, we will place emphasis on projects that are expected to utilize the "Low Carbon Technology Promotion Project Utilizing Joint Credit Mechanism Mechanism (JCM)" (NEDO's JCM Demonstration Project) or JCM projects mainly funded by private funds (private JCM). In addition, when implementing the FS, the details of the implementation will be decided in consultation with Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) officials based on the content of the adopted proposal. The number of adoptions is expected to be up to about 5 (total budget excluding tax: 75 million yen).

*Questions regarding the application will be accepted until 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
*In order to ensure smooth submission of application documents by email, applicants are requested to contact the secretariat in advance (see "12.3. Advance Contact of Applicants" in the Call for Applications Guidelines). * After the deadline for application, we may request submission of additional materials and hold hearings regarding the proposal. Please respond if requested. If you are absent from the hearing despite being requested, your proposal will be considered unsuccessful due to ineligibility. The hearings are planned to be held online using Microsoft Teams. If a hearing is to be held, the secretariat will contact the applicant (or the lead corporation in the case of a joint proposal) by email.
