A research group consisting of Kyoto University, the National Institute for Environmental Studies Studies, PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD., and PACIFIC CONSULTANTS ENVIRONMENT RESEARCH CO., LTD. * conducted fish monitoring in lakes and ponds across the country using environmental DNA and detected more than 40 fish species by collecting 1 liter of water. We are pleased to announce that the results of this research were published online in the international academic journal Freshwater Biology on June 1, 2023.
