Notification of "ZEB Planner" Registration

(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Tomoyuki SHIGENAGA) is pleased to announce that it has registered as a "ZEB Planner" to provide consulting services and other business support toward the realization of Net Zero Energy Buildings, which aim to achieve zero annual primary energy balance while providing a comfortable indoor environment. What is ZEB? "ZEB" is an abbreviation for Net Zero Energy Building. This is a building that aims to achieve zero annual primary energy consumption while providing a comfortable indoor environment. Due to people are active inside buildings, it is impossible to reduce energy consumption to completely zero. However, by reducing the amount of energy used through energy conservation and generating the amount of energy used through energy generation, it is possible to bring net energy consumption to zero. Sustainable open Innovation Initiative (SII) registers and publishes these. ZEB planners provide planning for the realization of ZEB to owners who are considering introducing ZEB. The involvement of ZEB planners is also required for ZEB subsidy programs implemented by the Ministry of the Environment and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
