Tokyo Data Platform "The 2nd Case Study Business Event Project Interim Report" for "Smart Tokyo" Will be Held
PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. will be explaining and demonstrating the "Station Usage Area Potential Map" project (*1) that we are working on at the "The 2nd Case Study Business Event Project Interim Report" on the Tokyo Data Platform (TDPF) hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
This project utilizes human flow data from "Nation-wide Movement Statistics" (*2) to visualize for the first time on maps and graphs "which stations are used by people of which age group in which area," something that has previously only been known through empirical rules.
At the event, we will explain the background and current status of the development of the "Station Usage Area Potential Map," as well as hold a panel discussion and demonstrations of use cases for companies, Tokyo residents, and government agencies, so please come and join us.

(*2) "Nation-wide Movement Statistics" is people flow statistics data that combines PACIFIC CONSULTANTS' knowledge and know-how on social infrastructure with location information data (anonymized) of tens of millions of devices based on SoftBank's mobile phone base station data. The data is expanded to an estimated 120 million people nationwide by combining it with the usage status of transportation such as railways and demographic data for each area.
