Supporting Infrastructure Diagnostics with Technology that Combines Metrology and AI to Efficiently and Effectively Identify Deformations Caused by External Forces in Tunnels
PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. has developed an AI that can estimate the occurrence of "deformation due to external forces," the most important category of tunnel deformation, by combining AI with data measured by the MIMM-R, a mobile measurement vehicle equipped with high-resolution cameras and various sensors (hereinafter referred to as MIMM-R).
Key points of the developed technology
・The results obtained by performing deformation mode analysis from measurement data from the MIMM-R and extracting deformation from lining photos using AI are further processed using AI. By doing so, we can grasp the occurrence of deformation caused by external forces.
・By using the results of AI inference, it is possible to support the classification of abnormalities and health diagnosis required for diagnosis.
・The determination of external forces, which was previously dependent on engineers, will now be based on objective criteria.
