PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. has been one of the pioneers in providing cutting-edge solutions to global environmental issues.
In recent years, in response to social demands, companies have been faced with the urgent task of setting goals (SBT *1, RE100 *2) and taking effective measures toward decarbonization. Furthermore, coupled with the international trend toward ESG investment, taking the lead in decarbonization management has led to increased corporate value and the acquisition of business opportunities.
Therefore, we are launching a "Carbon Neutral Promotion Support Services" for companies, leveraging our advanced expertise and diverse network to support their carbon neutral/SDGs/ESG efforts.
In addition, as part of our decarbonization management, we will also work to obtain certification from initiatives such as SBT and Renewable Energy 100 Declaration RE Action *3.

1. Renewable energy engineering and implementation support (local production and consumption of electricity, procurement of various certificates, etc.)
We provide not only planning services but also support for the procurement of various certificates such as business feasibility assessment, design, construction management, O&M, due diligence, and non-fossil certificates for renewable energy power generation facilities.

2. Energy management support (microgrids, VPP, new regional power projects, etc.)
Using electricity supply and demand simulation technology, we support the implementation of energy management such as microgrids that make full use of renewable energy on-site.
We also support the establishment of new regional power companies in cooperation with our subsidiary Pacific Power, which boasts the largest number of new regional power companies establishment in Japan (13 companies).
3. Coordination between companies and local governments, and support for building consensus with the local community
Utilizing our network with the national and local governments, we aim to procure higher quality renewable energy that is locally produced and consumed and contributes to the local community, leading to local environmental conservation and regional revitalization.

4. Support for evaluation and visualization of natural capital and biodiversity, and consideration of measures
Support quantifying and visualizing biodiversity on company-owned land and considering measures, quantifying and visualizing natural capital (forests and water) on which products and services depend and their impacts, etc.
5. Support for Analysis of the latest domestic and international trends, and strategic planning
Support for analysis, testing and evaluation of the latest trends in domestic and international policies, systems, and case studies related to carbon neutrality, SDGs, and ESG, strategy planning, KPI setting, and monitoring.
To provide this new service, we have established a new "Carbon Neutral Promotion Office" within the Environment & Energy Department of Social Innovation Business Division. This office will play a central role in collaborating with various divisions responsible for social infrastructure, our global companies, and our subsidiary, Pacific Power Co., Ltd., to contribute to solving the problems of even more companies on a global scale.
