Facilities and Sites We Operate

Through a PFI project, we will develop and operate a health support roadside station that will serve as a base for revitalizing the local community.
In Mutsuzawa Town, Chiba Prefecture, with a population of about 7,000, we formed an SPC with two local companies, with our company as the representative company, to develop and operate a new town center consisting of roadside station and housing that encourages permanent residence, through a PFI project. We introduced distributed power sources such as cogeneration using locally produced natural gas, creating an environment that can be energy independent even in the event of a disaster. During the major blackout that occurred throughout Chiba Prefecture during Typhoon Faxai in 2019, we were able to supply power and functioned as a disaster prevention center, providing showers to local residents.

Acquired the operating rights of the airport and managed the runway and airport building as a single entity. This is the third concession project in Japan, following Kansai International Airport, Itami Airport, and Sendai Airport.
Mitsubishi Estate, Taisei Corporation, PACIFIC CONSULTANTS and other companies are part of this project, which has been participating in the airport operation business (a long-term project lasting up to 50 years) since Oct. 2017. The airport is ultimately the gateway to the region, and for the development of Takamatsu Airport, it is important to make the region attractive as a destination. PACIFIC CONSULTANTS is working with local companies and governments to create an attractive region and revitalize the Takamatsu, Kagawa, Shikoku and Setouchi areas, and is taking on various initiatives.

Utilizing Kanagawa Prefectural Park's first "Park-PFI" to develop and operate a BBQ facility that contributes to improving the attractiveness of the park and revitalizing the entire area.
It is a BBQ facility that proposes a new way to spend time in the park based on the concept of "living in a park with a view of the sea" in Kannonzaki Park Tatara-Hama Park Site, which has one of the best locations but has not been used. The design of the facility, which effectively intersperses facilities with high customer attraction and event-like nature without placing a burden on the natural environment, was highly evaluated, and was also awarded the 2022 Good Design Award. PACIFIC CONSULTANTS invests in the business as a representative company and fully participates in the business, including general management, design and supervision, and management and operation for more than 10 years.

Japan's first sports park PFI project. Managing the entire project as a "community-led PFI project" led by local companies
We are participating as a constituent company in a community-led PFI project, which is centered around local companies and NPOs that provide health and sports programs in the Shonan area, and are responsible for the design, supervision, and overall management of the project.
In addition to promoting the health of residents by hosting various sports schools and tournaments, the park also aims to become a hub for local interaction by developing and operating private facilities within the park (restaurants, studios, acupuncture clinic, bicycle shop), and hosting festivals in collaboration with the local community association.

Under the designated manager system, we operate roadside station that serve as bases for regional revitalization, such as promoting agriculture and tourism.
We operate roadside station under the designated manager system in Koura Town, Shiga Prefecture, which has a population of approximately 6,500. As independent business facilities, we have introduced an authentic stone oven pizza takeout shop and the first dog run roadside station Shiga Prefecture, and have significantly improved sales and the number of users since it was run by the town. In collaboration with local businesses and producers, we are working to utilize the bustle of roadside station to revitalize the entire region by developing and selling travel products, conducting tourism promotion activities, and jointly developing and selling craft beer using local ingredients, as well as processed foods such as pickles.
