Formulated the Plan of Action for General Employers based on the Act to Advance Measures to Support Next-Generation Child-Rearing (6th Term)
PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. (Address: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President Executive Officer: Osamu OMOTO) has formulated Plan of Action for General Employers based on the Act to Advance Measures to Support Next-Generation Child-Rearing (6th Term) in order to realize diverse working styles for employees and create a workplace where they can continue to thrive and fully utilize their abilities.
1) Planning period
April 1, 2025 (Reiwa 7) to March 31, 2028 (Reiwa 10)
2) Purpose
To enable employees to balance work and child-rearing and to realize diverse working styles that suit each individual's lifestyle, regardless of gender, so that everyone can fully utilize their abilities and be healthy and active.
3) Goals
① To enable employees who are raising children to work with a strong sense of motivation, we will support diverse working styles through talking in person with superiors and improvements/introductions of systems, and strive to improve the working environment.
② By publicizing work systems related to childcare, disseminating information such as experiences of taking childcare leave, and promoting the rate of leave taken at each division, we aim to achieve 100% males taking childcare leave and an average of 60 days or more of paternity childcare leave during the planning period.
③ Implement measures to reduce the total working hours of all employees and increase the rate at which employees take annual paid leave, and to accommodate diverse working styles and achieve a balance between work and life.
