About "SAGA Sunrise Park + Eiko Bridge"
SAGA Sunrise Park was created as an area to create new value with an eye on the future, with the "SAGA 2024 National Sports and Paralympic Sports" to be held in 2024 as a major milestone. With the SAGA Arena at its core, where dreams and excitement are born, it is a facility where people from inside and outside the prefecture can gather and interact as a base for sports, entertainment and wellness where they can enjoy both the everyday and the extraordinary.

3) Flexible design and world-class sports hospitality to support sustainable operation as a profitable arena
Comments from the Good Design Award Judges
"A base for sports and entertainment realized through collaboration between various stakeholders in the region. The pedestrian deck will link the existing facilities adjacent to the area with the new SAGA Arena, increasing mobility and creating a sense of unity, thereby enhancing the synergistic effects of each facility and successfully creating new value for the entire area. As symbolized by the fact that the space above the deck, which also serves as a walking course, is a special stand with a panoramic view of the existing stands and the park, it not only improves mobility, but also gives back to the town by making everyday life and sports a more familiar lifestyle. It is also important to note that this scene would not have been possible without the strong will and solidarity of the various stakeholders involved."
