2023 JSCE International Activity Encouragement Award
PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Osamu OMOTO)employees has awarded the 2023 JSCE International Activity Encouragement Award by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers.
Kaname MIZUNO, Senior Technical Manager and Chief Project Manager, Railroad Dept., Transportation Infrastructure Business Div.
He has been consistently engaged in railway construction projects in Southeast Asia for the past 10 years, contributing to the international advancement and development of civil engineering through technical exchanges and the development of social capital in various countries . He was in charge of the design and supervision of all RC structures for the Jakarta MRT North-South Line Phase I in Indonesia, followed by detailed design projects for elevated and underground railways in the Philippines, and is currently the design manager for the Jakarta MRT North-South Line Phase IIA in Indonesia, where he plays a central role in technical and design supervision.
In addition, he has participating in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Study Group on Railway Technology Standardization since 2023, and will contribute not only to civil engineering but also to Japan's international contributions and social capital development.
