Project Overview
This project, titled "Development of a 'Station Usage Area Potential Map' Based on Private Sector Data," will utilize "Nation-wide Movement Statistics" *, human flow big data services developed by PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. in collaboration with SoftBank Corp.
By analyzing people's movements by age group and other criteria, and visualizing the actual areas within which residents and visitors use stations, we aim to utilize the data in selecting housing for Tokyo residents, in selecting locations and advertising strategies for companies, and in improving government services, and ultimately to contribute to improving the convenience of urban services.
Project Operator
This project will be promoted in cooperation with SoftBank Corp. and Nikken Sekkei Research Institute, with PACIFIC CONSULTANTS as the lead company.
Project Goals
・Visualize station usage by age group on a map as a "station usage area potential map"
・In addition to the above, we will develop a service that can combine and analyze data on food, shopping, medical care, etc.
・We will conduct a wide range of user surveys, including of companies and citizens, to identify areas for improvement and aim to provide an even easier-to-use service.
