Human Flow Statistics Data Service "Nation-wide Movement Statistics" Won the Excellence Prize at Construction Xross (C-Xross)
"Nation-wide Movement Statistics" developed jointly by PACIFIC CONSULTANTS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Tomoyuki SHIGENAGA) and SoftBank Corp., was awarded the Outstanding Technology Award at Construction Xross (C-Xross) 2021 in Kanto held in November 2021.
The Notable Technology Prize is selected from hundreds of exhibited technologies through votes from visitors and a panel of experts. Among them, "Nation-wide Movement Statistics" was selected as the Notable Technology Excellence Prize winner for its innovative approach to digital transformation and its potential for use in many areas.
PACIFIC CONSULTANTS provides solutions for smart cities, disaster prevention and mitigation, Carbon Neutral. In order to promote these human flow data, we are working on a project called "Urban Optimization Management" and will continue to promote this.

"Nation-wide Movement Statistics" is human flow statistical data that combines PACIFIC CONSULTANTS' knowledge and know-how on social infrastructure such as urban planning and transportation planning with location information data (fully anonymized) of tens of millions of mobile devices obtained from SoftBank Corp. 's mobile phone base stations. By combining the usage status of various transportation methods estimated from location information with statistical data such as population, we provide highly accurate data on movement estimated to cover the entire nation's population of 120 million people.
By visualizing people's movements, we aim to contribute to solving social issues and revitalizing industry by supporting urban planning and development, disaster prevention measures, restaurant opening plans, revitalizing tourist destinations, and the introduction of new mobility services such as self-driving buses.
