Notice

The "iRIC version 4 release briefing and usage consultation session" will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

We have been expanding and developing the Mflow model in collaboration with Mineyuki GAMO (Gamo Intelligent Technology Limited Company) based on the program developed by Goro TOMIDOKORO of Shinshu University.

Mflow_02 is a solver that can calculate unsteady two-dimensional plane flows and riverbed evolution using unstructured grids using the finite element method, and has the following advantages:

[Advantages of Mflow_02]

・By utilizing the characteristics of unstructured grids, it is possible to accurately reproduce the shapes of complex terrain such as estuaries, river junctions, and flood areas, as well as bridge piers, training embankments, and other structures.

- It is possible to model areas including not only river areas but also ocean areas and flood areas, making it possible to perform integrated calculations.

At the "iRIC version 4 Consultation Session," we will introduce actual calculation examples using Mflow_02. Please come to the venue.

We would like to continue to contribute to solving problems such as river channel management and river basin flood control by taking advantage of the features of "Mflow_02". If you have any questions about the model, please feel free to contact us.
