In October 6, 2022, we held a study session with Professor Hitoshi MIYAMOTO of Shibaura Institute of Technology at our Tsukuba Research Center.
The study session aimed to improve technical capabilities in solving issues such as river channel management, and included lectures on river channel management, management of river channel vegetation, and important points to note when developing models to predict river channel changes.
We also introduced the aims of the vegetation change model that we are developing and points to keep in mind when conducting practical studies, and exchanged opinions.
We would like to continue to contribute to solving river channel management issues based on the experience we gained from this study group.
